CryptoMonopoly - venture & crypto industry simulator
CryptoMonopoly is a simulator where anyone can try themselves as the founder of a startup or investor.
The project was founded in Russia in 2017 as a browser game based on blockchain technology.
The main mechanic of the game is that the user can create a unique digital asset (startup idea) based on blockchain technology. Further, the owner of the asset can attract like-minded people (investors) to it, transferring a share of his asset in exchange for remuneration.
The monetization model of the project is commission. Investors make a small transaction in favor of the platform when paying for an asset share. The funds received are distributed between the platform operator and partners attracting new players.
Project include blockchain development, web development and product design.
Main challenge was to develop games based on blockchain and web technology, reproducing the state of affairs in the crypto and venture industries.
The product design challenge was to make a game on blockchain technology with a simple and intuitive interface accessible to a wide range of users.
The traditional condition is the launch date of the first version. The first version was developed in 3 months and includes blockchain development, web development and product design.
Solution features
We used the Etherium blockchain during the development of the CryptoMonopoly game. All financial instruments of the game were implemented on its basis. With the help of web-technologies, a user interface was created that allows using modern technologies for people far from the IT sphere. In addition, the interface included technologies that allow creating graphic and video presentations of projects and their detailed description.
Features of the project:
● Authorization and at the same time the user's wallet were implemented through the MetaMask wallet web application.
● Assets and mutual settlements between users are carried out on the basis of the Etherium blockchain
● Front-end is a website that synchronizes with data from smart contracts.
